Hi all,
Attached is a few photos of a 40's Cloud Badge Radio King interior. This is a one ply drum. There appears to be what almost looks like a veneer on the interior that lines the entire drum. If you look closely near the glue rings you can see a small gap where the bottom of the glue ring ends and this "veneer" begins. Maybe they slightly beveled out an inch wide or so where the glue ring is attached which would make this appear veneer like? It does not look like it has been modified but it certainly does not look like the interior of my 50's Radio King either. I have included a shot of what looks like the end of the "veneer " seam that goes across the entire depth of the drum. Perhaps thats just the end of the single ply? Any thoughts?
