Sounds a lot like this thread. Set the price and then pull it to make the most money you can make. Damn the ethics and all integrity. Love the cash!

That's just sick.

If you offer it at a set price and someone comes along and educates you on the actual value, that's one thing. This is not that case. This is someone who set the price and reacted to the interest it stirred. He/She is just sitting back and wringing the hands at the thought of the increase.

The sad thing is it's really not that much money. They've sold themselves out for what should amount to a few hundred dollars (under a thousand). That's nothing compared to what they are giving up. You can't put a price on your integrity. Try to get through life without it. Knowing that no one trusts you or believes you. It just wouldn't be worth the nominal influx of cash.

I agree completely. He took the posting down, reposted for 700-800 or best offer. Not cool.

That's OK, pastures tend to have hidden treasures...... Ebay/Paypal fees..... deadbeat buyers, Craigslist tire-kickers, scammers, etc etc ....

For me, this forum is the safest and fairest place to buy and sell.
