Sticks in general are collectible. Of course the most valued pairs are the original endorser sticks in the original bags.

With that said the majority of Buddy Rich sticks usually get the highest prices even if they are not in bags.

In regards to the very early sticks there are collectors that try and find original pairs. I believe Mike Curotto collects those sticks and has more knowledge about them.

I probably have about 30 different pairs of old sticks some in the original bags and many never played.

Click here for a few examples.

Your sticks, many of wich are not paired and look used will not bring much money. The Louie stick is one that I would buy, since I like to collect stuff related to Louie Bellson. I might have three pairs of those, but the imprint is not very good.

I never really thought about collectible sticks....but now that I have seen a few of those oldies, I was "sent back in time" again! I had a pair of those retractible wood handles brushes. It took me all of about 2 seconds to break one (I was probably about ten years old at the time!). I don't know what it is...but I like things that have that vibe.

I tried to show an example of each set. Yes some are used, but the endorsed ones are fine. Was a good box "o" chops that was included for free that came with a drum set from an auction.
