Doc,

I know I haven't even given you a chance to get to my first post, but I figured I'd include pictures of the P stamp to help. Then I thought I might as well take some more pics while I'm at it so you can tell me what I have. However, none of them seem to want to upload (they're all too big), so I'll have to send them to you some other way.

You'll probably figure all this by looking at the pics, but I'll include it here:

-The shell is six lug, marine pearl wrap, and has the early Black and Brass Chicago Oval Badge (swoopy S)

-The snare throw isn't original so I haven't included it in the pics. I'm wondering which strainer would have been there originally on there, so that I might replace it for posterity.

-I'm also wondering about that snare butt. It looks original, but I haven't seen it on any other drums.

-I would never ask you for an apprasel, but I'm wondering if this is a "cheaper" model, because all I ever see on Slingerland snares are 8 lugs.
