Don't tell my wife!
Yeah...seems like he posts this kit every other month to "show off" his skillz, or luck, or just plain ugly drums, I don't know...nothing against the color, just......uuugggghhh! He is kinda a sick about these things. And it is StarCraft he is a builder/restorer/collector dude...kind of confuses me when I go to khis website. Steve Abercrombie and Frank Banali are the guys behind the scene here. They are collector/players and Steve runs StarCraft and the website as well. There is all kind of info on them, look at Bonzo Bros website...
"I enjoy restoring 60s Japanese "stencil" drums...I can actually afford them..."I rescue the worst of the old valueless drums for disadvantaged Children and gladly accept donations of parts, pieces and orphans, No cockroaches, please...

“I did not trip and fall. I attacked the floor and I believe I am winning.”
I wouldn't trade my 58 Gold Sparkle 20/12/14/5.514 Gretsch for these drums - no contest....imho
Steve is good guy to deal with, it says the auction is just for show. I'm sure if someone wanted to fork over the dough, he'd sell..
And Franky.. well, hellova drummer, long resume.....

I just looked at the Bonzo Bros website and saw my old drumkit!! I assembled that 1974 Green Sparkle set with the help from Matt at bonzodrums. He did all the recovering and plug/paintwork. I spent many nights cleaning and detailing all the hardware. I spent the day at his shop reassembling the kit and Matt then took the pro-level photos. It ended up in an article in classic drummer magazine. Very cool kit...
If he wanted to show off the kit, why didn't he just post it on here instead of paying a high listing fee to do it on E-bay?
