Hi, I know this is an older post but I just came across it. I actually have one of the Ludwg BR model 2030 sets. My dad bought it for me back in 1991. It had been modified to accept a center post tom mount and a 14" rack tom was added. I sold it to a friend then bought it back a few years later. I had to completely redo the kit as the wraps had discolored and cracked. I had to use solid white because the original marine pearl was not available. I have some before and after pics if anyone is interested. I would like to know the value.

Indeed! These have been up for sale for a while now, and on both Reverb and eBay. To bad it has a 22" bass drum though, otherwise... they would have to be restored/rewrapped, and all the pulls on the wrap, especially near the rivets, would take a lot to correct ... but it could be done if someone were so motivated and got them at the right price. A RH player would have to change the mounts of course, but again, it could be done... but a lot of work! If the 24" were present, it would almost be worth it!, but for the right price given the work needed to get 'em where they need to be! Still... RARE! You just don't see many of these!
