Billy Blast Drums Last viewed: 6 hours ago

Hi Everyone -

just wondering if anyone has had any experience with Billy Blast Drum Co.

His web site certainly looks legit. but then again I have found out the hard way that that's not always the case. I'm looking for red sparkle snare to match my Slingerland kit and just might go a different route than vintage from ebay or GC. He is selling a beautiful 15 ply (not that I care) 6x14 snare for $300, which I think is quite reasonable. Keller shells of North American Maple. Any advice on buying from Billy Blast would be iated.

Thank you.

I have purchased several items from him and also spoken with him on the phone. I got some nice round bass drum lugs and t rods from him and lug screws. I think I even have one of his black reso heads on my Camco 8"x12" Tom. Delivery was pretty fast from what I remember. I would not hesitate to do business with him again. He also makes some pretty cool drum kits.

i've sold him bulk drum parts a few times. seems like a cool guy. never seen his work except for what's on his site.

he's a local here and i know tons of drummers here in so-cal, and i've never heard a bad thing about him.

Sure, his site is loud and brash but beyond that lies a legit business and good products.

He's just having fun with his site.

I am putting together an electronic set and will surely be buying his new style multi-layer mesh heads.
