Hi to all,

Newby .... just bought a set on "Gon Bop" congas that where made many years ago, they are the "oak delux series", and I want to gets new badges for them. DW bought the company and they say "we didn't make them, so we can't give/sell you any badges. Any ideas?

Also I have nearly all of a "Boosey & Hawks" (English) snare drum from the 1920's the only missing item is the catgut snare it'self. It's in bits ... with regard to selling it, should it be assembled and cleaned up, or just as is?

On the Gon Bops, try and track down a mob called Pj Percussion in Denmark (bizarre, I know) but I know they were very tight with Gon Bop back in the day. Gon Bop supplied them with Camco spares after Camco got sold to DW - it's conceivable they might have some Gon Bop stuff as well - 'cause Pj and Gon Bop stuff is virtually identical and often uses the same stuff. DW are bastards like this - they don't even like supplying spares on their own stuff if they can avoid it.
