With what you can see, and cannot see........I would say NO. The price is at the top of what those drums are worth in that condition, even with the 14x14. Between 600 and 750 would certainly be more reasonable. And again, even though there are a lot of pics, they dont show you anything. Are they worth it? Yes, But it is not a good deal.

Looking at the floor tom, is it really a 14'' drum? With the snare sitting on top of the of the F/T it looks to me that it's larger then the snare. Does anyone agree or do I need to get my eyes checked, lol

Thanks P-man, I think the free shipping and the the inclusion of snare was started to sway me a little.

That is a 16" floor tom.

Ooooooh, goshhhhhhhhh....if it was a 14" FT and the wraps were original, I think it really would have been a good deal.

14x14 alone = $300+ and the Powertone snare = $175.

If it is a 16, then maybe $750 is more like it.

If it is a 16 and the seller doesn't confirm it.... holy cow...I would be one ticked-off buyer !

It was a 16, and the sellers pictures sucked. Makes you wonder what he was hiding. Plus, I think the buyer is going to be shocked by shipping, even though it said free. I doubt it was.

My favorite is when I buy stuff and it says "free shipping anywhere in the USA" and then I tell them I'm in Hawaii and it's "whoooooaaaaaaa... ".

I'm in the habit now, before I bid, if it says "free shipping", to email the seller with my zip code and ask if there's any problem. Overall, though, I've had very few problems... I usually use USPS Priority Mail.

Can you believe this - my brother on the Big Island has got packages from the mainland USA with customs declarations on them!

They are back. Seems fishy. On the bay right now.

Note that the listing has been corrected with a 16x16 floor tom now.......I bet either the winning bidder backed out on the original auction or something else similar happened to have them relist them....
