Open one up and see what the tag says. I am guessing you will find a 9/72 Fullerton tag in there. Date of manufacture, 1972-75. Mojave Red was the color. Three ply maple (possibly five ply also).

Cheers Ploughman,

Not actually my drums and the guy selling them doesnt really know about drums.

Thought they might be a nice buy as there going cheap (200-300dollars)

seem to be original heads on them and there are cymbals also, have no idea what they are though.

would they be worth that money do you think? its a 6 hour round trip but wouldnt mind if i got good second kit for cheap.

cheers

Absolutely! Especially if there are some good cymbals in the deal! Those could pay for the whole kit, if they turn out to be nice, but not needed. Cymbals are still bringing in some cash. Like I said, even selling one or two would at least pay for your time and gas.

Wonder if he's back yet? That is a long drive, but dang, I'd have been on the road as soon as I saw the ad, stealing cash from the cookie jar, and selling to someone I know...like you....or Michael...or .....
