As far as new Ludwigs drums go, only the Legacy and the Classic drums have shells made in the Ludwig factory (USA) All other models of Ludwigs, Centennial, Epic, etc. are all foreign made shells overseas...
Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

I really like what Ludwig is doing with these cheaper kits, and the prices seem competitive.
