Do you think it means they are earlier than the 30s? Is that possible? Are they a sub brand of Zildjian made in Turkey? Very little info online, and what info there is is quite confusing

Zenjians were made in Italy by UFIP and marketed as a budget line through Zildjian. Some of these sound like old A's and even look like they could be old A's. It's entirely possible that this one could be from the 1930's or 1940's.

I find it hard to believe that an italian cymbal company in the 30s would stamp crescents on their cymbals and write in arabic?!?!

Its all about the marketing. The idea here being:
....just make them think its made in Turkey and they'll be more likely to buy it. Quite often they even included the word "Constantinople" along with the crescent and moon too.
