This is my first Ludwig drum...............have I started something i can't stop?

It's in the mail so I should have it within the next two weeks.

I know nothing about these drums other than what I've been reading in Rob Cook's "The Ludwig Book."

Cool1 I picked one up about a month ago and just got around to putting on new heads and snare wire this week. It sounds really good. Enjoy !

Did you post a photo?

If you want to send me an email with photos of your drum & details I'd like that. I've been reading a little about these Ludwig 404's and the history is interesting. Is yours powdercoated (mid-80's)? I won't be able to tell the rough year of mine until I get the drum in my hot little hands. The serial # - in the seller's photo anyway - looks like it's altered on my drum. Could be just the way the photo was taken.
