Before I joined this forum I bought my first vintage kit and probably paid $300.00 more than I should have. I didn't know better at the the time but I don' t regret it either. $1600.00 is to much for that kit but if you find something you really like and it cost a little more than it should, then I say buy it if it makes you happy. With this set you have plenty of similar sets for a better price to choose from.
Tottaly agree there is NO set price for anything you want something you pay for it if it is too much you keep looking you know what you want and you will be the one playing it only thing i will say is that without a snare it would be to high with one or a hardware kit it would be in the ball park..
