What a beauty! My first kit, which my dad purchased for me new in 1963 was a SBP Luddy. I've still got it! Thanks for sharing the pic. Was the kit in this pristine condition when purchased or is what we're seeing the result of some extensive refurbishing effort? Just wonderin'.
Thank you so much! I got it on eBay (they found it on the attic). Well, I spent quite a while polishing, but lucky me, it turned out to be completely orignial, even some original Ludwig heads and all the orignal drums bags. Really love it. Your Ludwig kit has a very special story and meaning to you, since your Dad bought it and you are the first and only owner. Wow, this is really special!
