60's Ludwigs in Black Oyster Pearl Last viewed: 4 hours ago

I went ahead and picked them up. They were too good to resist. Here are the details:

-12" Tom B/o badge 764364

-14" FT Keystone badge 711196

-20" Bass Keystone badge 732241

Based on these I think they are '69. I'm guessing since the numbers are close that it could have come from the factory with the mismatched badges? All interiors are clear maple. The only issue is the bass legs which aren't original but I think they used the original holes. If not at least there aren't extra holes showing. Finish is the Ringo black oyster pearl and all wraps are in good shape. There is some minor scuffing on the 12" but I believe it will buff out. All this with a Ludwig Standard chrome snare in good shape, Chicago snare stand, Ludwig hi-hat stand (later cheap one) and two nice Pearl double braced straight cymbal stands. Total price was $400. Too good to pass up I thought. I'm anxious to hear everyone's opinions!

GREAT score. I was concerned that you were going to pass on these. That is a nice kit. It will clean up very nicely. You will have yourself a wonderful Downbeat setup. Envy Envy Envy all across this forum. Trust me. That is a kit that many of us would have loved to come across for that kind of dough. Excellent!
