60's John Grey and Sons in Sweden Last viewed: 15 hours ago

Loading...

Hi, it's me again - let me know if you are getting bored of these.

Here's a translation of the ad

60's Drums from John Gray (sic) in need of renovation.

20" kick, 12, 14 toms. 14*6 Premier in good shape (2000 series?)

13" Chrome tom of unknown origin.

Ludwig Speed King pedal

Stands, 20" Zildjian Avedis (also 1960's, keyholed)

3x14" Zildjians (1960's keyholed)

Including heads and brushes

The 14" tom is actually an Asba if you look at the shots. He's looking for offers. I like the look of the kit as it looks all original and I LOVE 2000 snares (although I prefer the shallower ones), but it's 200 miles away from me.

Thoughts on offers?

The 3-pc John Grey is pretty rare...although I am not positive what to make of that bass-mounted rack tom arm and plate.

I'd say those are worth about $600-650usd.

You have an Asba toma and an Asba 'hat stand. $60 + 90 = $150usd

Luddy bass pedal = $25usd

Misc. other stands = $25-50 usd

The Zildjian cymbals, even if keyholed not badly = $135-175usd

The Premier snare = $100-150usd.

So, these are the market values...coming to a total of about $1050-1200usd.....

Something like that....IMHO....FYI

If I were trying for a decent deal, and making an offer, I'd offer about $950usd and see if the seller bites at that.....

Whew.....Coffee Break2
