**CORRECTION - MODEL#4108

good evening friends,

i have a gretsch aluminum snare

model 4108 with a brushed appearance.

i bought this used when i managed a drum shop in my early 20's and it has been my meat and potatoes snare ever since. i use it for everything now and it sounds incredible.

i have been trying to get info on it for a while now and info online for this model seems to be very scarce. i don't think i've ever seen one on ebay or for sale anywhere else.

just curious, is this model pretty rare? any info you could provide me with about the 4180 series snares would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I had a bud who had two of them a six and your 8 lug model, I remember the 6 lug he sold for $200.00, I was going to buy his 8 lug model but he moved and I've lost contact with him, he owned Gene and Buddies drum shop in Charlotte NC

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!
