Hey guys! New to the forum. Just wanted to show you my current vintage kit. WFL 13x9 tom, Transition badge 16x16 floor, Keystone badge 22x14 kick, 14x6.5 Transition Badge Pioneer - blue/silver duco. These drums have totally got me hooked!... I’m in the process of selling all my modern drums to get more vintage ones 😜.... Looking forward to learning from you guys!

Thanks! Haha... those are "booty shakers" ... Little foam cups that let the drum resonate longer. The floor doesn't soak up all the vibrations. They also make "little booty shakers" - versions that velcro to your snare stand for a mounted tom. Virtually no resonance loss! The name is pretty whack (be VERY careful googling "little booty shakers" LOL).... but they are awesome products.

I use them on my snare stands for toms/snare drums. They work very well! I was surprised. I haven't tried the floor tom feet yet but maybe ill give them a try soon.
