wow check this out:

I agree its a beauty, good condition and great sound file attached, but its a lot of money, and not worth it over a brand new K constantinople for about a quarter that price in my opinion.

at least 30 people seem to disagree with you :)

I'm not one of them though - $3,728.00 is a bit steep for one cymbal. Imagine the kit you could buy with that kind of dough?? Maybe a kit with some vintage cymbals even.

I'll have to keep playing and loving my non-vintage 22" Dream Bliss I guess.

Not to be contrary Big Daddy but it looks like it was about 4 people bidding that one into the stratosphere.. then the last dude came in and clobbered them. I only offer that in defense of the sanity of the human race... maybe only 5 people with so much more money than sense instead of 30.Coffee Break2

I can just imagine Thanksgiving when the brother-in-law comes over and cracks that one air drumming AC/DC.Cooked Egg

That's a lot of money, but that's also a very thin, light old K. 1500+ grams is feather-light!! That's what the hardcore K guys look for. But, yeah...WOW! That IS a lot of money for a cymbal!!

Jim, you are right of course. I didn't check the bid history, just saw the "30 bids" and didn't dig any deeper.

Yeah... $3k is a bit much. Imagine if you got the cymbal and didn't like the sound of it "in person"?

Ouch. Of course, you could likely get most of your money back... maybe.
