And that seller is also known as stewy from a few years back and another name after that. Well known for having cool stuff with a high price. I wonder how he got all the money to buy it? He's had some really neat vintage stuff, but I wouldn't buy from him unless I really needed something..
30s 22!! Thin!! Last viewed: 1 hour ago
wow, 1900g 22" would be super thin.
I had a Bosphorus 22" exactly 2000g, which was too thin for me.
I can't imagine how the less weight cymbals would sound.
off topic, but please let me ask you guys.
Why the old stamps are so expensive compared to intermediate or new stamps?
Because it is old? or they sound much better?

[COLOR="DarkRed"]Good eye ! Yeah I remember Stewy ! The guy started out with decent prices back when - then opened his eFlay store and jacked everything way way up ! I agree - not a seller who generally gives you a good feeling

That's the trans stamp from Jaye, one of the nicest A Zildjians I've ever played! It sold off my site in about 15 minutes...kind of wish I'd kept it. I've had a number of customers ask if I have any more like it. Jaye, I don't know where you find them!

They are older, rarer, and in general have a different character than the others.
In general:
They're more "buttery" under the stick, more flexible, (even in heavier weights), they play thinner than they actually are, and they have a breathy subtle wash.
They also tend to have more of that "Blue Note" sound than the other types usually do.
At least the very good ones have most of what I just described.
And that's the key. Don't find just any old stamp. Find the good ones. They are sublime.
