We are selling my husband's vintage drum set on EBAY. Someone asked me the serial numbers for the drums. I looked up some info on serial numbers and basiclly found that the numbers are insignificant. Anyone have another opinion? I hope the person isn't trying to scam an insurance company or something.

Post a picture of the kit. I think anything post round badge is NV, but that's my opinion. The picture will let us know if there is any rarity value.

Oh, I think I found it. Very nice kit. The walnut 5 piece. The snare is COB and generally quite sought after. Looks to be in great shape. You should do well. I obviously don't know what your reserve is, but your opening bid is well below market. How it sells will be a function of supply and demand. I could say where I would price it but I don't want to have an effect on your auction, but it seems very well kept and should probably go on the higher end of the historic range. Good luck! Very nice kit!
