1969 Black/maple Kit Last viewed: 1 hour ago

I have a 1969 Ludwig olive/blue badge, black wrap, maple, open bottomed kit. I got it from a lady who was throwing it out. It is a 7 piece, has a 9x10, 11x12, 12x13, 13x14, 16x18 and a 16x24 kick drum. The 16x18 floor tom has a bottom on it, the other 4 toms are open at the bottom. I also have a 6x14 pearl export snare to throw in. It is in great condition after I cleaned it up. Unfortunatly I have very little hardware for the kit (like none that seems to match or work right)

Was wondering what something like this would sell for. It's just taking up space and I want to get some new equipment for the studio.. Please let me know.. Thanks

When you say "open", does this mean hoops have been taken off and used for a mobile over the crib:confused:, or does it mean concert toms, as in they are factory with no additional lugs? Could you post some pics so we get a good look at them?Jumping2

Where do you live? I want to look over the curbs on trash day in your 'hood!

Any pictures? Is the wrap a smooth glossy finish or a black textured finish?

Could be a pretty nice kit. the 16x18 could be an add-on/replacement to the original set...but....in and of itself an 18" Luddy FT is worth quite a bit...like $250 just for that drum.

Although, maybe Luddy had a kit which had 10/12/13/14 concert toms with a double-headed FT...? I dunno....

In the sizes you noted, it would make sense that the FT is original...
