There's a lot "wrong" with this kit. Could you please take some pics of the inside of the shells. The spurs, the bass tom mount, the wrap, the grommet, and several other items raised red flags. Thanks.

I had the same impression. They only want $500, but I don't want any funny business. It looks like these have been "restored" incorrectly. I may swing by and look at them anyway, if so, I will get some pictures.

$500 is to much. I would pay no more than $200.

There is definitely some funny business going on. The thing is, I can't put my finger on what. It may be innocent and you may be correct in that they did a botched job of "restoring" this kit. Or...it may be something else entirely. Either way, 500 is WAY too much for this kit. I would consider paying 125 for the hardware. If the shells were in good shape, I would add another 25 to 50. The wrap kills those shells. There are extra holes drilled for those spurs. Is it me or did they wrap the hot water heater in that same wrap. Check out that thing to the right of the kit in the first picture. What the heck is that? It looks like the same wrap. Cracked me up.

I missed out on an orange mod set painted black for $150. I'd check with him on what the original color is?
