How much are these worth? (Please forgive me for the horrible photography).

They are dated September 23, 1968, the interiors aren't painted, and they are in very good condition. There is a little rust around the rims, though.

Okay, I'm not that great with predicting the values of Black Oyster Pearl drums because they are what is known as a "cross-collectible". They have a value as a vintage Ludwig Super Classic "shell pack" (a set of drums sans the snare and hardware), which is currently somewhere in the range of $800-$1200 depending on the color of the finish.

Then there is the "Ringo" factor. Even though Ringo didn't play this particular configuration, he DID play Ludwig drums with this finish. So, there are collectors of just this sort of thing. Depending on what they want on any particular day, the price could be double that of the regular estimate above. If they were in slightly different sizes, they could be worth a lot more than that.

However, even with the terrible photos, I can see that the rail mount has been altered. If this set has other alterations or unseen damages, the value will decrease swiftly. I wouldn't give a valuation on it until I can see clear and detailed pictures of all angles and the interiors including the bearing edges.

There are other guys who know more than this type of thing than I do. Hopefully, they will chime in, too.

I only had that rigged mount on temporarily. Here's the real one:

Here's a picture of the back of the bass drum:

And here's the top of the mounted tom:

I believe I could get more out of it than that.

Just curious, wasn't 1968 the last year they painted the inside white? And didn't they dicontinue the Keystone badge in 1969?
