Gongrats on scoring a very cool and rare finish drum! I just finished up rewrapping a late 50's Gretsch Round Badge kit in the modern version of Burgundy sparkle, it's called, Merlot these days. Deep, rich color. I love any burgundy drums. Classy, just classy.

I agree, that drum looks flawless. It's a mystery to me why burgundy sparkle wasn't more popular. I saw pix of John's Gretsch kit and I thought it looked very classy.
