I have a slingerland snare with the brass and black badge serial number 11266 the shell is an awesome blue green fade from what ive read i think its a pretty early model i was wanting more info on it if anyone has it thank you The Band

can anyone tell me what year my Slingerland Snare Drum is please? it is a oval black Badge Niles Illinosi, badge number is - 36401 I just bought ti on e-bay, its Chrome over ? maybe steel or aluminum I put a magnet on outside f shell and in stuck so probably not brass, thanks, Mike

Mike the drum is a steel shell if a magnet is sticking to the shell, brass and aluminum isn't magnetic. what color is the slingerland badge gold/black or silver/black ?
