Adam,, you lost me here. I spent an entire evening after his gig with Jason, went to the nudie bar had a bunch of bevies with him he was just one of the guy's!!! details man details???

I would almost certainly expect a big sound from BIG drums.That kick looks deep.I do like the openess of them for sure...I only know of one douche bag in drumming and he,s little squirt from Vancouver...What did Jason do??

I think I like his NEW choice of drums over his OLD choice of drums......sound much better to my ears.....btw, his new choice of drums was a return to his first choice....Ludwigs....

I am sure he is a great dude....though talk about hitting a strip club and getting hammered "after the gig" doesn't really do much for convincing me.

I was just kidding around really. I honestly regret even saying anything..its not my place to pass judgement on a person I don't know...especially not on some internet forum. I have nothing against him....I am just not a fan of his style/drumming. It was really just a rip on him being an all encompassing spokesman for what "good" sound is...and a another friendly jab towards VM about DW drums not sounding that great.

I am sure he is a very talented and nice dude. I apologize for my inconsiderate statement. I was just joking. Hope I didnt make anyone mad.

I'm not mad, I just thought you were serious about it...now that I know you were joking, no worries or problems :D

From what I understand though, Jason is a pretty down to earth guy now that he has toned down his drinking....

First let me explain, the nudie bar is not a nudie bar, its a go go club. and 3 beers isn't getting hammered, this was a 4 hour period!!! and Jason was as cool as they come!! and thanks for the explanation!! And I posted this to do just what has taken place, a great discussion from VDF Forum members!! and Kudos to Ludwig-dude post of jason talking about his life!!! In fact when jason was playing that night after the show jason had a QA session, and all the morons were asking him about led zepplin his dad etc, I came up to him and asked him when was himself and mac going ridding, mac is Jermy Mcgrath at that time Motocross world champion and best friend to jason,we hit it off like best buds, we are all just people who want to be treated as such, give respect you'll get it back, thanks guys hell of a debate. oh one more word DW'S rule, hehe!!Violin
